I've called the city and left a message but they never call back.
I've submitted an online request but they never get back to me.
The clogged drain has been pretty bad for a few years and in the spring when the snow melts it floods the front of my property.
Anyone know who I can contact directly?
One time I did get someone on the phone about the issue and they told me it was a State issue, so I called the State and they said it was a City issue.
Seems like no one wants to take their job seriously and its frustrating since I pay almost $40,000 in property taxes a year to the city.

If it’s a route numbered state highway (I-84, I-81, 5/15, 44, 187, 189), then you should call the state. But if it’s a local street, then the city’s public works department is responsible. If you think it created a driving hazard (flooding the road), then call the police. They will handle it. Jay

Thank you both!
The drain is clear on the surface but the clogging is happening on the inside where we can't see.

A lot of that system is old and collapsing. The oldest parts are still wood.

Is this also on a hill? Is there parking in the street? I've seen issues like this be a cluster when drains aren't cleaned. Might want to contact mdc just in case. To not many people at the dpw used to work at mdc.
