If it makes some people feel better, then okay. I do genealogy and have found one disgusting Puritan ancestor who got a woman killed for being a witch. In reality, all he wanted was her land.
If anyone goes to visit Salem, it's a beautiful town to walk around in but I didn't find the witch museum very interesting. Go and visit some of the burial grounds in that area. There's a lot more than just Salem. That area is loaded with history and to the north, Ipswich is really interesting and has a good museum and some of the country's oldest houses to visit. Salisbury has a burial ground that I used to love, victims of witchcraft buried there but also it's a small, rather peaceful place to walk around in.

He was a wealth of knowledge of Connecticut history and gave me my true appreciation of colonial architecture and our states character.
