Thanks everyone. I’m not sure how my wife missed it but Southwest has a 6:00 AM flight nonstop to Orlando out of Bradley. That may be our best option.
Has anyone flown their Business Class? I see that Business doesn’t get you any more room than others seats. We found that being in the first row of the plane is the most comfortable and try to get those seats. I believe those are the Business seats. Does anyone know if that’s correct? Jay
I never used business, Jay. I think the 2nd best tier PLUS $15 Early Bird checkin will get you what you want, 80% probability. I have yet to see more than a handful Business seats taken. Business includes Early Bird. Most seem to head for the back of the plane.
I also think the emergency row will give you about a much legroom as row 1.
It has changed; SW now does early bird by tier, so I would not do the cheapest two tiers just in case.
Because they don't know if they'll be in business beyond that??
Don’t laugh, depending on how things go between Town Hall and the airport ownership group on expansion it’s a distinct possibility. It would be a shame and an embarrassment for NH.

JK - how far out do other airlines allow booking?
They all differ. Legacy carriers tend to be 11 months. Avelo as noted above is 4 months. Southwest sticks to 6 months. Bottom line is YMMV depending on carrier.

If you mean East Haven, yes. New Haven city government supports it fully.

Truly.
It won't put Avelo out of business-- They'll just go elsewhere. They have created a focus city in Orlando that's doing well and will just move resources there.
The fact that they haven't broken ground yet on a sorely needed new terminal is a sad embarrassment already.

Flying Avelo again in 2 weeks.
Correct, I meant business in NH
I'll be on Avelo in a few hours
