I actually lived at 55 Sugar Street about 10 years ago. Newtown is a wonderful town, and there are very few affordable places to purchase so this park is a great option. Sugar Street (aka Rte. 302) is a busy road, but the park is well established with lots of mature trees and not too noisy. Most of the people who live there are nice, quiet, working class folks. It is a very nice place to live.

You do need a car if you live in Newtown, especially at this location as there is nothing in walking distance. Newtown has the essentials as far as shopping (grocery stores, drug stores, banks, and pizza) but for anything beyond the basics you will need to travel to Danbury or Southbury, about 15 minutes in either direction.
