I completely disagree with you on this. Connecticut is a wonderful state with a lot going for it. Many, if not most, people love it here. Jay

Pros: Excellent schools, culture and beautiful large trees. Affluent population, and a farily steady economy that is doing much better than other states. Proximity to NYC, the ocean, mountains and airports.

Cons: Segregation, some people here, and there are some nasty traffic snarls along Route 8, 15 and I-95.

I am interviewing for a managerial position in Norwalk, CT. Have a home in Nevada that I will rent out. Any advice on housing for single male?

It depends on how much you are willing to spend. Keep in mind that Norwalk is in the middle of some of the most expensive real estate in the country. I wouold recommend renting first in order to get to know the area better. Norwalk is a small city and offers a lot of rentals but they can bepricey. I want engage a realtor to heko you. Good luck, Jay

My wife and i moved here from Westchester,NY in the summer. We love it here. We find the housing was cheaper and our property taxes are half what they would have been in Ny. Its a much better quality of life for us. Our back yard is a farm. Everything is scenic in our area. My con would be the electric is way too high.

Stay in the Southern part of the state, unless you like your privacy and don't mind feeling a bit isloated. It's also much easier to get to NYC.

Isolated? The Hartford/Springfield metro is over 2 million people.
