I originally posted this in reply to a request for info on small communities around the Hartford area, I believe I should have posted here..oops
Greetings! I am so excited about relocating to CT! Just in case any of you have rental properties in any of the before mentioned areas I thought I would drop in and ask. One professional adult relocating from Illinois in order to work in a Hartford hospital. Looking for a quiet, safe area in which to live and enjoy. Somers and Marlborough sound lovely but willing to look in any of those areas you have spoken of. Thank you for your time and any assistance you are able to give me...all is greatly appreciated. P.S. At least partially furnished would be most helpful but not an absolute necessity. I thank you most graciously!

Somers will be a far commute to Hartford about 40-45 minutes...and Marlborough would be closer but still close to a halfhour commute.

I'd look into Wethersfield, Glastonbury, West Hartford or Windsor for a shorter commute
