Hi

Does anyone have a recommendation for furniture stores within 30-40 miles of the Danbury area? I've seen the Bob's store off Federal Rd in Brookfield, and the Ikea store at New Haven, but thats about it. I'm looking for kids furniture such as bunk beds/desks/etc.

Thanks.

Ethan Allen is based in Danbury. Nice furniture but pricey. I know there is a good local store but off hand can't remember its name. Jay

We got some good stuff (bunk beds, dresser) for our son's bedroom at Raymour & Flannigan in Brookfield, off Federal Rd. Their prices were close to Bob's after factoring in the 12% discount for new customers, though that promotion may be over. I've always found R&F furniture to be very good value, and their delivery people are excellent - very knowledgeable and helpful.
