Can anyone recommend a Home Inspector or Home Inspection Company to use for an inspection on a home I am going to be purchasing in Fairfield. Thanks for any info.

JayCT - Thank you for the information on the Ronald Drive neighborhood - I really appreciate it.

Did you ever find a good home inspector in the Fairfield, CT area? I'm looking for one now that someone has had a good experience with.

Thanks!

I heartily recommend Tom Schlotter
http://www.allied123.com/

He's an independent inspector, which means he doesn't take referrals from real estate agents. We had him inspect a house for us. He spent at least four hours going from top to bottom, and his report was detailed, organized, and accompanied by photographs that illustrated the problems he found.
