Thanks guys. I know I was being paranoid about bugs and such...probably annoying to all you who've lived hear for a while to listen to my worries.

I'm back in CT now. Hoteling it for a bit. Went to dinner last night at Carmen Anthony's in Wethersfield, good food, couple cute waitresses....love the accents.

Driving to W. Hartford tomorrow to check up some places, thanks for all the suggestions. Very Big Help!

Biggest shocker so far...both times I've been here its been colder than a witches tit. Where talking ass-biting cold! Coldest place I've ever been. So cold I don't see any birds, raccoons, dogs, squirrels...nothing. Nothing living, stray, lost or otherwise.

My new co-workers think I'm a sissy...they say "Welcome to New England!"

Cheers.

They're out there. I have bird feeders along my deck and had about a dozen cardinals feeding today. There were also Blue Jays, Morning Doves, and a persistent squirrel which drives one of my Cocker Spaniels insane. (NOTE: my dogs are indoor dogs except for the occasional visit outside.)

LOL It's been WAY WAY WAY below average for the last few days. The high has been below the average LOW!

Yesterday was brutal, and it's not the norm. This is MN weather for sure. As they say here, don't like the weather? Wait a minute - it'll change. lol

If you are around by this weekend still, it will be in the 40's-50's again. Thank God!

We are thinking about moving to Hartford, CT area. We have to choose between two locations: Windsor and West Hartford. Good school is or top priority. Also we heard that housing cost in CT is skyrocketing especially in West Hartford. We are moving from NC. Any insight about housing cost will be helpful. Could you please share info about following 8 points in regards to these two cities?

West Hartford

1. Hosuing cost for 4 bed room , 2. 5 bath housr price.
2. Car insurance on: 2006 Camry and 2005 Honda mini van.
3. Property tax for per 100,000 home value.
4. In general school standard.
5. Best public school [ Middle, highschool ]
6. Crime rate.
7. Future job growth
8. Economy.
