I was looking at some homes on and near Wolcott Hill Rd in Wethersfield. I was wondering if anyone could give some info on this area? Crime rate? School systems? etc. The houses seemed very nice... but I just don't know anything about Wethersfield. I will be working in downtown Hartford, so, it seems like it would be very convenient. Thanks in advance for any help!

Wethersfield is a very nice middle class town with very good schools. Pretty much the entire town is safe. There is good access into Hartford and there is a lot of shopping along Silas Deane Highway and the Berlin Turnpike. Old Wethersfield is wonderfully charming with one of the largest concentration of colonial homes in the country. It amazes me how affordable the town is compared to towns like West Hartford and Glastonbury. I am sure you will like it. Jay
