Hi, I'm willing to move to Manchester, I have some concerns about Manchester's schools. Is this is a good town to live and educated my kids.
I will appreciated if someone can help me.

It's an OK school, but you will find much better schools in neighboring glastonbury.

Manchester schools perform under the state averages on the Connecticut Mastery and Connecticut Academic Performance test scores. Class sizes are to be reasonable though. More information on the schools there is provided in the link below. Jay

My brother is a Manchester Public Schools teacher. He has mixed things to say about the school system. There appears to be a large divide between the group of average and above achieving students and those who are at the bottom of the academic ladder. The high school has some level of racial problems common among many urban high schools with a mixed race population.

It seems that with good parenting average and attentive students have good outcomes and usually go on to post-secondary education.

You would likely find better schools in some of other towns like Glastonbury, but again, this is Connecticut and you will likely find schools to be quite good when compared to other areas of the country.

Good luck.
