You look at the comparisons they're pretty similar.

They're both suburbs of the biggest city on each coast.

LOADS of money.

Yeah its cold vs. beaches and not as much babes here but its still pretty similar.

Pretty much. There is a group I noticed on Facebook with over 20,000 members called "FC, the OC of the East Coast." Interesting thing is most members are from OC! lmao

Fairfield County is actually wealthier than OC too.

not really. Orange County isnt really know for its Old Money/WASP population, which is what Fairfield County is famous for. Orange County is similar in the amount of money people make. I guess thats really it; theyre both rich parts of the country. Orange County, people wise, is the opposite of old money. its a NEW money place

If the comparison could be made, I would be more likely to put Nassau County on Long Island as the "OC" of the east coast. As noted above, FC is very unique in its reputation (deserved or not) as a haven for old money/conservative/WASPy towns. IMO, Nassau County has more of that up front attitude about wealth and showing it off. I hope that doesn't sound too snobby. haha.

Suffolk County is much more rich than Nassau.

But a little too far from NYC to be considered the Orange County of the East Coast.

Fairfield County is wealthier.
Fairfield County = Platinum Triangle (Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Holmby Hills)
Westchester = West LA (Santa Monica, Brentwood, Malibu)
Long Island = Orange County (Newport Beach = Hamptons)
New Jersey = San Fernando Valley/San Gabriel Valley
Staten Island = Hancock Park
Queens = East LA
Bronx = Compton/South Central

I also didn't realize CT was #3 when comparing states.
