Hi - i live in fairfield, i have to go to Wallingford tomorrow and was planning on driving over to O'Rourke's - heard a LOT about this place. If you can only have one lunch there what will it be. I might start fasting from now to have the apetite

O'Rourke is an interesting small diner but I do not think I woud go out of my way to go there. The food is just basic diner food. It is good but kind of expensive. JMHO, Jay

I agree with Jay. The place serves decent diner grub but I think it thrives more on its reputation as a local hangout (especially popular with politicos who stop by for a visit) than on a reputation for excellent food.
