Hey, I'm from Tennessee....and I can tell you there were a ton of drunk teenagers...not sure if it was from Jack Daniels, though. LOL

Were they violent? That's how you can tell they've been drinking J.D.

LOL...right...whiskey hits you pretty hard.

I'd like to pay a visit to the Jack Daniel's distillery. Get me some free samples!

Any other Kiwis in Connecticut? The perception we have of Connecticut is that it is not a typical American state in the sense that it is dense, authentic and historical. We have only seen New Haven and the freeway to New York. Will it be difficult to adapt to Connecticut?
Kia Ora kiwi!

Did you get the info you needed on Conn? When do you leave Aotearoa?
I actually know Auckland pretty well, have spent quite some time there (last trip it was deciding if I wanted to move there from Oz).

How does that PJ in Bridgeport effect people in Trumbull?

I have lived in Trumbull for 12 years and love it. I live in the Long Hill area, Jane Ryan elementary school district. The neighborhoods in this area are great. Most properties are 1/3 to 1/2 acre zoning but also some 1 acre zoning. Your are close to all amemenities, parks, shopping, schools, highways, etc. People in Trumbull are really friendly and down to earth.
This is just where I live, but I don't think you can go wrong with any neighborhood in Trumbull.

The PJ is less than 1/2 mile from the town line. If you live north of the Merritt or west of Main Street it really would not affect you. I advise people of it because I would hate to buy a home not knowing that there is a public housing project less than a 1/2 mile away. Jay
