Anybody know if there are cranberry bogs in CT? Especially bogs I can watch the cranberries being harvested? Thanks.

I've lived here all my life and explored just about every nook of the state and I've never seen a cranberry bog. LOL If there is one, I'd like to know too.

That Ocean Spray commercial is pretty fake if you ask me.

Isn't Ocean Spray based in Massachusetts? I think Cape Cod, which isn't really that far. Jay

Yea I know, I just laugh at their commericals though. They make it seem like it's 1920 New England again. I don't think there are many rural farms with simple "dumb" farm boys out that way where people say "ayup" anymore. More like a horn beep and middle finger while the passenger flicks a lit cigarette butt at you. LOL

If they do still have cranberry bogs out there, it would be a cool site to see them harvested for sure.

Default SE Mass

There are many bogs in Southeastern Massachusetts where I am originally from. I believe Ocean Spray is located in Lakeville/Middleboro, MA. One of the things I vividly remember as a child was ice skating on cranberry bogs that they flooded during the winter.
