Ave listing price in Noroton Heights is well below 3 million. The median list price for all of Darien is 40% of that figure, and Noroton constitutes the less expensive neighborhoods.

PS: There are a lot more than 8 homes for sale in "Noroton Heights" and the average, harmonic mean, median, mode price is far from 3.7 million (in fact not one home is above $3mm). I'm sure Coldwell is having trouble grabbing the actual neighborhood since it isnt defined by a zip code.

You can get a house for around $800-900k there is one listed right now near the bottom of Hollow Tree Ridge Rd near Route 1 for $850k? That is a great location. There are others around the neighborhood in the $800-$1,200; there is even a little cluster of brand new houses on West Avenue close to the RR station for $1.2-$1.4. Anything new construction will be up above $1.0 million. All this talk of $2.5million++; sure there are those houses but there is quite a range of more affordable options. Actually believe there are two smaller, older homes on Linden avenue between Hollow Tree Ridge road and Gardiner that are below $1 million and great for commuters as the station is very close less than a 1/4 mile!

Best to search under Darien; hardly anything ever listed as Noroton or Noroton Heights that is too old school. If you search under Darien and want the Noroton section and Noroton Heights section that would be everything for a half mile either side north and south and east and west of the noroton Heights RR station. The Elementary school districts would be Holmes for north of 95 and west of Noroton Ave,; Royle for north of 95 and east of Noroton Avenue and Hindley really for everything south of 95 over to the library on Route 1 everything east of the library and south of 95 is Tokeneke school and everything north of the Darien H.S. is Ox Ridge.

It's a very expensive area no matter how you look at it. All of Darien is.
