North Stamford - Tranquil, woodsy, nature like
Milford - Hip, developing, affordable
Stratford Lordship community - Near shoreline water, convienant to all, good community
Bristol - Snow, land, lake compounce,
Monroe - seemed like an awesome peaceful, woodsy, get away from hectic city life to be in while I was driving through
Old Saybrook - not sure why yet
Litchfield - because I want this home with the mountain views!

kind of relative i think. everybody looks for different things when it comes to where they want to live so i'd guess that if you get enough responses, eventually every town in CT could be mentioned.
but to answer the question, i happen to like where i am near the cromwell/middletown line (rt's 3, 9, 91 all nearby) and would like to settle here if i ever get back to work and can go househunting again. i also like Niantic with the waterfront area.

Old Lyme - does this need explanation?
Ellington - stunning views!
Suffield - peaceful, close to many larger towns
Colchester - self-sustaining, rapid expansion
Hebron - laid back, down-to-earth
Lebanon - beautiful countryside

I just love CT in general. These towns are no better than any others, just my favorite!

Oh no...not another "best" list.

These things are so subjective. We've had several on here.
