I am trying to get from Stratford, CT to Kent, CT.

Is there a bus service that goes from Bridgeport to Danbury?

Then is there a bus service that goes from Danbury to Kent??

Trying to get myself and my backpack to the Appalachian Trail is proving to be much harder then I thought.

You can take the train from Bridgeport to Danbury.

I don't think there is bus service beyond that.

There is no train directly from Bridgeport to Danbury. You would have to take the train to South Norwalk and switch to a train on the Danbury Line. Not an easy or convenient trip. I am not sure but I would think there are buses to Danbury and then to New Milford. That may be as close as you can get to Kent which is the next town ot the north. Jay

Yes, HART services this area. HART = Housatonic Area Regional Transportation. Here's the website: HART - Housatonic Area Regional Transit.
