Marlborough is a small semi-rural community with homes generally on larger lots (acre plus). It is very nice with newer homes being more upscale and semi-pricey. There are some businesses there but they are mostly small and locally owned. Major shopping has to be done in neighboring towns like East Hampton, Colchester or Glastonbury where there are supermarkets and other basic stores. There is a great walk-in clinic there associated with Middlesex hospital. I know people from Glastonbury that go there when they don't want to deal with going into Hartford or Manchester for emergencies. Jay
