I just moved to Southport with a cat and dog and am getting very conflicting advice regarding a trustworthy, not-too-cost-prohibitive veterinary practice. I went to Fairfield Animal Hospital and did not like it at all - I did not find Dr. Plunkett to be thorough in his examination, and the office smelled like urine, even first thing in the morning. I would hugely welcome your suggestions. If you have a groomer you think is particularly great, I'd love to know that, too. Thanks, wonderful posters!
1. Dr. Marsh at Greenfield Animal Hospital in Fairfield keeps a very nice practice. His rates are in line with the market. He was my main vet when I lived in that area for three years and was recommended to me by an employee at Pet Supplies Plus on the Post Road.
2. I've heard that Highway Animal Hospital in Fairfield is not as expensive as some and when I lived in the area, I met a lot of people who took their pets there.
