Chip's Pub II in Guilford was sold and the new place is called KC's Pub. I haven't been in there, but they wanted to keep all of the previous customers, so I imagine many things are similar.
Other good options are The Stonehouse (American style and seafood near the town marina at the end of Whitfield St.), Quattro's (progressive, somewhat fancified Italian food near the town green on Water St.), and Ballou's (wine bar off of Whitfield St. on the town green, down the driveway to the left of St. George's Catholic Church).
Ballou's, just behind the green. Wine bar, chocolate, fondue's. Really cozy, live music on weekends. Great place.
