This is one run of one model. Too far out to draw any conclusions.

It's more noise than signal.

**UPDATE**

Last 2 run of the models have it OTS and we just get flurries... This is fun for sure...

Some people just want to watch the next day forecast on tv...which is fine....I cant. There's no knowledge or fun with that.

The track is painting the picture and becoming more certain...It wont be a west track inland... Now its strength and temps.

Wait...just realized this post...lol...what fog? Explaining what one model consistantly showed? Thats hilarious. I think there's a chat room somewhere on citydata, let me know if you need the link.

This is the "weather" thread...lets discuss weather including what models are showing being they are "weather" related. Lets not be bias on something.

By the way...makin a claim without backup?

Just want to point out...Its not just us...its NOAA too who realize this year has been challenging where as the other years we had model confidence in the tracks 5+ days before..

.LONG TERM /TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/...
-- Changed Discussion --
MOST OF THE LONG TERM FCST WAS SPENT LOOKING AT THE POTENTIAL
COASTAL STORM TUE INTO WED. THIS WINTER HAS FEATURED MANY COMPLEX
STORM SYSTEMS IN THE MEDIUM RANGE THAT HAD A POTENTIAL TO IMPACT
THE AREA. OPERATIONAL MODEL GUIDANCE HAS HANDLED THESE PHASING
SYSTEMS POORLY SO FAR THIS WINTER...RESULTING IN LOWER THAN NORMAL
MODEL SKILL AND FORECAST CONFIDENCE MORE THAN A COUPLE DAYS OUT.

THE UPCOMING TUE-WED SYSTEM WILL BE NO EXCEPTION. WHILE CONFIDENCE
IS HIGH THAT A COASTAL LOW WILL DEVELOP NEAR THE SOUTHEASTERN
COAST...THE EXACT TRACK OF THE LOW IS HIGHLY UNCERTAIN. THE TRACK
OF THE LOW /WHICH DEPENDS ON THE TIMING AND OCCURRENCE OF PHASING
BETWEEN SRN AND NRN STREAM DISTURBANCES/ AND THE EWD PROGRESSION
OF THE SFC HIGH MOVING NORTHEAST OF NEW ENGLAND WILL BE CRITICAL
IN DETERMINING THE PRECIP AMOUNTS AND THE PTYPE.

The complete discussion here.
