Yes, sorry I didnt reply. Real feel is just that..the real "feel" of the air as opposed to the actual temp of the air. Humidty a big factor but.... The "Real Feel" uses multiple factors such as cloud cover, wind, sun intensity, humidty as opposed to the "Heat index" which just uses humidty.

Here's a video accuweather did on it.

I'm thinking Friday will be the worst day. And if Humidity levels are anywhere above 40% Over 100 degree real feel will be reached.

Tuesday we get some storms passing through.

Big Storm potential Monday afternoon/Evening. Could be a messy commute again with localized flooding.

Default NorthEast HeatWave July 2011

Those pinks need to stop inching their way up. LOL This one model had this...In my opinion I dont think true mid 90s will reach that far north.

2 runs after this one it did back off but this was scary to see.

Dont forget...this is air temp...not real feel. This is not based on sun or humidty.

Friday afternoon.

Dont forget..Monday afternoon we'll see strong storms..heads up on that.

Cambium, maybe you can cheer some of us up by prognosticating when's the earliest you see a pattern break...i.e. lows in the 50s again?

We're dipping to the 60s at night in many places but 50's ...

As daily highs, November.
As daily lows(night), September
As spotty breaks, August

La Nina is coming back for the fall so I'm expecting a cooler then normal Sept/October/Nov.. If we can get some more rain we could have some vivid fall colors.

But lets get through this long duration heat first.

P.S - A tropical system is imminent to hit us. I'm thinking August/Sept.

This heat is disgusting. Walking my dog feels like torture... for both of us.

I thought my realtor in MA was joking when she said that it was 5 degrees cooler there, but looking on the weather sites, I see that she's right. I can't wait to move just for that reason. I'll be singing a different tune in the winter, no doubt. I know, I know, I'm a Montreal girl. I *should* be able to handle the cold. I can't. And I can't handle the heat either. There are two days in April when I'm perfectly happy with the weather.
