I need a Spring season to acclimatize. I went for a walk at lunch yesterday when it was in the mid-70s and I was DYING. So freaking hot. My body is still in winter hibernation mode and I am not used to these temps. I need to ease into summer-like warmth. Looks like this weekend we'll return to more seasonable temps.

YES! models are still showing a colder solution for the end of the month with a mixture of precip types. Some snow possible in the interior elevated areas.

I saw that, I didnt want to rain on everyones heat parade. lol Lets see how consistant it holds up showing that solution. Last run showed 3-5" north of 84 in CT. 5-8" for 3000'+. Euro says no.

Look at it like this.. The severe Texas drought is now returning back to "normal" with substantial rains lately. Weather always finds its way back to "average".

So the question is not when, but how much below average temps will get, to return us back to the normal. We been above average for months on end now. So its safe to say there will be months with well below normal temps to make up our "average". :-) Can't wait.

Interesting article (from 7 years ago!) that a friend pointed out to me; spring is actually starting earlier and the warm season is lengthening while the cold season is shortening!

Other than a chance of a pop up storm during the heated afternoon, only chance of rain is on Sunday when 2 storms spawn off Virginia and heads up the coast. Light rain at best. Less than an inch.

Couple quick cool air shots then warms back up and next precip event not till the 29th.

Very Dry!

Any idea what the ceilings might be in Northern CT early afternoon on Sunday? I'm hoping to fly again! I'm going to try and time it during the lowest ceilings of course!

Yes, it is extremely dry in NH as well. The snowpack vaporized due to the extreme warmrth of the past week and the soil moisture is already depeleted due to the lack of a slow melt. This has allowed for the unbelievable 40-50F dirunal swings in temperature in much of the Merrimack valley. The only difference with our pattern is frosts or a freeze is possible next week.

We had a brief, light shower here this morning. It was quite a surprise.
