::UPDATE DECEMBER 27, 2010 SNOWSTORM::

The model NAM takes a dive to the Gulf and looks like the Euro.

The continued consistancy is almost nerve racking. The only model not showing a coastal storm is the GFS (the more unreliable one this far out)

GFS update at 11pm. If that goes the way of the Euro and NAM I'll be buying a snowblower for this one.

I personally think we'll get SOME snow out of this one, just not "epic proportions", etc.

But for those who think the last storm was a complete dud, keep in mind that it eventually "tracked backward" to the East Coast, just too far north and east for most of us. The Cape got quite a bit of snow and even Boston got a bit.

Bingo. Wasn't a Dudd at all. A Couple hours NE of us got close to a foot! NW CT saw some snow too from teh squall lines moving SW..

It was amazing to see the radar like I said. Storm moved NorthEast, Stopped in its tracks and reversed to move SouthWest. Amazing stuff. AND ITS STILL UP IN NEW ENGLAND 3 days later!

Ummm, maybe I should just suprise you guys on what the latest is...

Let me first give you a picture. In simple terms, the more circles around the center of a low and the tighter the circles are....... the stronger the storm is.

Clue: Euro still saying it will drop 1.50 of liquid over us in 12 hours time and its not done after that. At 10:1 snow ratios, thats 15 inches in 12 hours.

Will that actually happen??

5 days out. Models are agreeing with eachother which is making me nervous cause they never do outside 3 days.

Crunch time starts tomorrow morning.

lol...Yes...I know what the models are showing at the moment...they wont tell it to the general public until we're within 3 days before...PLUS after all -- Its weather. It changes within minutes. So you can't put 100% or 75% until we get closer.

They have 50% for CT.
