2pm real feel at BDL is 103°. Last time we were over 95° was July 22nd last year. LOL. No rain in site BUT, some storms might be severe tomorrow.
Tonight is going to feel worse then today because its not going to cool down to normal levels. I'm scared to say Friday "could" be the same as today if the Southwest winds keep up. Cold front is too weak now. We'll see.

Actually, they're talking about storms on FRIDAY, not tomorrow.

As for how hot it gets Friday, I think it depends on how soon we get thunderstorms. NWS is saying around noon-1pm in FFC and a high right around 90, but if it's later we might see temps similar to tomorrow's.

Edit: I dont know how they did it back in the past without a/c. Wow. there must have been a lot of deaths.
OMFG, I drank about 2 gallons of water today and pissed about a cup. Cold shower, diner, sleep. If I didn't need the body fluids, I'd kick back a few beers to dull the pain. Some days just suck.

Just an average 95* day in the South.

I will admit it's heating up now, I might have to turn on a fan. There is a nice breeze blowing through the house, though. We don't have the AC units in yet, we usually wait until July.
LOL My AC units are in around May 1st. Mostly to just knock it down a notch when needed and pull humidity out if it's gross.

Looking at that makes me feel a little better.

I am LOVING it! It would be nice if it was a little more humid though. It's kind of a dry heat. Tomorrow is supposed to be 101. I wish it was like this every single day in the summer in CT. Hopefully with global warming and all that, it will become a reality someday. It just feels so good to walk out of a freezing office building all day, into the heated outdoors. I drove all the way home with windows rolled down and no AC or sunglasses whatsoever. Love it.

*3rd straight day of 90s looking more likely* It will officially be a Heat Wave if it does.

At 8:30pm Temps are still in upper 80s & Real feel of 90s around the entire state.

Tomorrow dew points will be little lower so it wont feel that humid out there but advisories continue.

Thanks for the correction on storms... It would be Friday the chance not tomorrow.

Current surface map. High Pressure near Bermuda and south dominating. Cold front still mid west.

Cool Atlantic could create intense fog tonight.

Low last night in Central Park was just 81 (current temp, so it could still go down a degree or two). Lows of 80+ in June are quite rare (don't have stats on it though), in fact, the all time "highest low" for any month is just 3 degrees higher, the "84" occurred twice in 1908 (once in July and again in August) and again twice last year (two days in a row in July).

If it gets to 100 there, it would be the earliest in the year it was that temperature (record is June 26, 1952). Considering yesterday was the first 90-degree day of the year, incredible (I personally think it will just miss, be about 97 or 98, though Newark could be 100 and maybe Hartford has a shot since it's sometimes warmer than CPK during heat waves.....but maybe we're "due" as there are plenty of earlier 99's in the record going back into the 1800s and calendar-wise into May).

I wonder if the 2-3 days of extreme heat causes June to end up above normal after all, though the return to below normal temps next week may prevent that.
