Does anyone know a place I can go snowmobiling in NY or CT? I don't own one so the place need to rent it to us. Either groups or individual runs.

CT? LOL I'm predicting a "NO storm". This state outlawed ATV's and we have no snowmobile trails - AT ALL. The best you'll get are the grass drags in Terryville.

You have to go North. New Hampshire specifically. Tons of options there. I don't know anything in upstate NY but I know they exist.

Not in CT. We were planning on doing a snowmobiling trip this past weekend but looked at the costs, etc and realized a golf trip to FL at my friend's condo would be cheaper and warmer.

Our last good size snowfall, there were a couple of people snowmobiling down Westport Ave in Norwalk. I do however doubt that doing so is legal.

By the way Snowman27, how is this weeks storm prediction looking?

Thanks guys...

Tomorrows storm looks good. Keep in mind...to get the highest snowfall totals you need to be near the low and the rain/snow line.... Thats whats happening...

with that said...you have to accept any shift of the storm that will change the whole senario minutes before.

Looks like rain on eastern long island then back to all snow.

It's too bad I can't start a topic on it. People were crying about the 2 snowstorm topics I had going.

What a minute....there are no snowmobiles allowed here? Seriously, the whole state? We were just in Mohawk Forest this past weekend and there was a sign for snowmobile trails.

I can't find anyplace that rents but there are definitely trails that you can ride. Perhaps laws have changed? Here is what I found regarding snowmobile laws. You have to register it and I'm sure pay taxes on it, lol.
I've been dying for a snowmobile. If they were outlawed here, I might have to move.
