I know that the distribution is set in stone, but has anyone changed their electricity supplier? I've gotten a few fliers in the mail about some cheaper supply rates, but don't know if it's a negative in any way for me to do this. Does UI get affected negatively if I switch away from them? Will that eventually raise my distribution rates if they are making less $$ on supply? Current supply charges are $.115680, and some of the fliers are as much as $.02 cheaper. We keep our usage pretty low (350 - 500 kWh/month), even with my wife working full time from home and having in-home care of our 18 month old, so we'd only be saving as much as $10/month. Not sure if that savings would be worth it, if there will be a bigger raise on my distribution (which is over half of my bill).
