Rural. Very little crime. One of the largest towns (by area) in the state with one of the smallest populations. For basic stats, city-data.com will have all the info you need.

It is a rural but very charming town on the Connecticut River. It is home to the Goodspeed Opera House and Gillette's Castle. There is virtually no crime. You can find information on the schools there at the links below. Jay
