I saw another thread on the Hartford 21. Made me wonder, are there any skyrise type properties in the town of Farmington? Obviously not at that scale seeing as though it is the largest. But anything like that?

Something of the caliber of '21' in Farmington-even at a 'reduced' size is unknown to me.

Perhaps someone else here is aware of something similar.

Farmington is a small upscale suburb. The tallest building in town is UConn Medical and the town had no say in its height since it is a state facility. There are a few apartment complexes in Farmington, but they are pretty small scale. What is it you liked about Hartford 21?

I liked the skyrise atmosphere, since I live in one now. I love the floor plans, and the layouts.

Then you might consider moving into dwntown Hartford and doning a reverse commute. be warned, the rents at Hartford 21 are the pricest and they may not include parking. There may be a couple of other newer rentals that are less expensive downtown. Jay

Again, that is not an option because I must live in Farmington close enough to my office to take my ill baby (dog) out 3-4 times a day. I guess no skyrise for me.

I'm having issues finding a place in Farmington as well...there are a few Apartment Complex's, but they look a little dumpy...and I can't find any Townhomes/Condos...it seems VERY suburban, so options seem to lean more towards purchasing a house than anything else (especially if you have to be local). I'm heading up to the area tomorrow to check out some places...I'll hit you up if I see anything worth checking out.

try next door to Farmington, try New Britain which is still a pretty good area, lots more apartment complexes to rent a bit cheaper than Farmington...
