I'm jealous. My Sony Walkman (that I used only to listen to the radio when I walked) went kaput several months ago--it had to be 20-plus years old. Best reception ever. I've looked in thrift stores to no avail. <sigh>

Not sure about AM but mine had a FM DX selection and it worked really well.

I remember those, but now have internet radio and 8 gigs of of memory on my cell phone, so I don't miss the good old days.
