Can anyone recommend a small (12" or less wide), cheap ($30+ or - a few bucks) DVD player that will last more than a month or two? I want it to connect to a small television in my bedroom for occasional use.

I had a Dynex player (which I understand was made by LG) that lasted quite a while, but now makes noise when it spins. Unfortunately, it appears Dynex is no longer available.

meh Go to Walmart and get what is on sale. Picked a little Sony up there a few weeks back. Seems to work fine. On principle, I will not buy Samsung at this point, no matter what the price.
