I have an HP Office Jet Pro 8620. The printer was low on black so I changed it earlier, no problem. Then my yellow ran out and I went to Sam's to get the color ink. Now I have an error message:
One or more cartridges appear to be damaged. Remover them and replace them with new cartridges.
HELL they are new. I took them out and replaced them back, didn't help. I put the old ones back in and now it says my black ink is empty. HELL that is a new cartridge.

I need HELP~!
Not the kind I have. I figured it out. I had to unplug my USB and reconnect that. Then my cartridges said which ones are low...and replaced all cause all was low.
I must be missing something here, just take them back to Sam's for a refund and buy them from a different business...
On your next purchase check the manufacture date of every cartridge. Once from Office Max I bought refills and had problems, checked the ink levels with the HP utility and noticed the "new" cartridges were 8 years old...
