The only two series I care to watch right away are Suits and Walking Dead. They are $1.99 for SD on Amazon Prime. For everything else, I am thinking netflix? I don't watch alot other current tv. I heard Hulu Plus is great if you want current shows and netflix better for last season tv and a larger tv library.
Best thing to do is to do the free trial for Hulu Plus and the free trial for Netflix and see if what they offer would satisfy your needs. I'm not sure right off bat what all Hulu Plus offers. I've thought about taking out a subscription since I'm a cord cutter, but most of what I like to watch is really on the national broadcast stations.
I also have SlingTV which gives me a handful of cable channels, including ESPN, A&E, TBS, etc....
Suits and Walking Dead are on Netflix.
Suits 2015 is on DVD that you have to order and 2015 has not been released yet, it's coming soon
Walking dead season 4 is the last on streaming, and Season 5 is the last season on DVD
Vikings is a good series to get form amazon
Since I got Netflix I stooped watching cable. Over the years I have watched allot of what is there, and now having hard time regularly finding something cool to watch.
Hulu Plus is good. The "relatively" ad free Hulu is even better. Personally I think Hulu Plus + ShowTime is about as good as it gets. You can get out the door for $20 a month. Then order those season passes.
To answer another poster, anything worth watching on Hulu, is now on Hulu Plus. It wasn't like that in the beginning but they've gotten really smart about it. The free service is just a teaser for the paid service.
