I'm on the market for a fitness tracker and haven't really found one that meets my needs:
-syncs with Android app
-accurate pedometer (well, obviously)
-altimeter measured in something other than "floors climbed." I don't walk up and down stairwells. I do hike mountains, and would like to track elevation gain
-comes with band (I'm afraid of losing a clip-on one)
-$100 or less

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

$100 or less with a REAL Altimeter?

You aren't finding that. Up your budget a bit.

This is the cheapest I've seen that fits your bill, $180:

I'll even save you some money today. B&H has it for under $125:

I see, I really didn't have a good sense of how much "REAL" altimeters cost. So, I don't get it. The Fitbit One supposedly has an altimeter and is under $100...what am I missing? The One gives you flights of stairs, which is why I'm not interested in it of course.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't want a full-fledged watch. I'm looking for something small and less prominent.
