Excellent news, and and wise move by Toshiba. I decided to stay with a DVD player with video up-converting, and that works fine. My wife and I have tons of DVD's, and although BlueRay can up-convert standard DVD's, I didn't want to go on that route, so the new introduction by Toshiba, if it's as good as it sounds, is a great alternative for us.
