Hello,
I was wondering if anyone out there had the same situation:
When I try to turn off my calculator, it gives me a BUSY error message. I'm not performing any calculations, and the batteries including the backup battery are new. I've tried the manual's reset procedure and that did not help.
Did you have the same problem? What was your solution to the problem?

Thanks!

Try removing both the regular and backup batteries.

Default Same problem on my son's TI-89

The calculator highlights 'busy', turns display off briefly, and then turns back on (when we turn it off).

I've pulled the batteries & backup battery, reset ram, reset using left/right/2nd/on, etc.

No change - still exactly the same problem.

Pretty major bug!
