Okay so the problem that may be caused by a virus does the following:
1. Constantly pop up my TV's setup menu
2. Constantly raises the volume
I have my TV hooked up to my computer so I can play video games on a wide screen. It's a Sylvania model NO. LC320SLX, Release Version CS32OS_1.5, does anyone have a fix for it?

I seriously doubt you have a virus. More likely it's a stuck button (or two) on the tv set itself. If you can get to the wire harness for the buttons, unplug it to only use the remote. Then see if that fixes it.
Anyway, tv's are dead CHEAP today, so maybe it's just time to buy another one.

Sounds like a simple TV problem, maybe a power surge or loose wire? I'd probably take it to a computer shop or something that could investigate it.

So you have an 8 year old television.
i have had problems with audio on old televisions, and rather than throw it out, I simply opened it up and disabled the speakers. I use another audio source.
And just so the OP is aware, even though he doesn't have a virus, if he did he wouldn't be the first. There is ransomware for TV's now, and RAT's have existed for a while.
