Roku certainly does not have a similar setup. Just another reason why Roku > Fire Stick.

For you, maybe.

On my Fire Srick, as I mentioned, I still have a media center and I can still watch my own video, listen to my music, view photos using Kodi again with no internet/wifi if I so choose, I can hookup an external drive to it and play from there or play it off of my PC.

You can't run Kodi on a Roku, so for me Fire TV > Roku

You can also install many Android apps on the Fire Stick, something you can't do on a Roku.

Different strokes. I don't have a personal video library, I have 3 other way to hear music all over my house and I've never once felt a need to do a slideshow of my pics on my TV.

gotta stick with something from FAANG - firetv, appletv, google chromecast. roku is probably safe for now, but i see their market share continuing to decline compared with the others.
