New to this forum, so please forgive if this is a re-hash. My wife has a Honda HRV, with a terrible entertainment system for interaction with her phone. I got a Garmin 65 with Alexa and she has an Iphone. Garmin works for navigation, and Alexa does the other stuff. Pretty much all she does is occasional directions, steaming music, and making phone calls.

About once a week something goes wrong. The music or phone doesn't come through the speakers. Alexa or Garmin will say it is not connected. At first I contacted Garmin support. Very helpful, speak English, and they walk me through disconnecting everything and doing a full setup again. Now I can do that myself, but my question is, why do I have to do this all of the time? I got what I believe is the best Garmin has to offer, and it wasn't cheap.

Any advice is appreciated and if nothing else, I got to rant a little. Until something better comes along, I will never buy another car that does not have Car Play and Android Auto. Mine has that, I love it and it almost never gives me any trouble.

Welcome Jude! I know the HRV is newer so surely still under warranty. Have you checked with Honda to see if there is a software update for the radio? Because, yea, that's a thing nowadays.

If there's an aux in connection try that for one of the devices. It sounds like you have both the Garmin and the iPhone connecting via Bluetooth which I wonder is conflicting somehow.
