My tv us crapping out. Imagine a screen but split it half vertical half horizontal. The upper left and lower right “squares” are a darker tint. Where the upper right and lower left are more normal light pixilation. None of the pic settings will lighten it. It’s noticeable more in darker movies
So I want to go to a 65 inch tv.
What’s a decent one to buy? Looking at less than 1k. I don’t watch much tv but my wife does. I was just ginnna grab the first 65 inch I saw at Wally or Best Buy
Thanks

When I bought in 2018 I got the NU8000 which was highly but not highest rated. In comparing prices I spent $1100 vs the next one up (the QLED model) which was closer to $2000 at the time. But there was a noticeable difference between my model and the 7000 series for $200 less.
But if the QLED is on sale for $849 that’s what I’d get every day of the week.

Which one did you get? the QLED or the model below it? FYI - when I bought mine (found the Costco picture of the price) I actually paid $1250 for a 65" 8000-series. So if you got the next model up for $400 less well done.

Ended up with the Samsung QLED

Once in a while a fast movement gets pixelated as the screen tries to catch up. Other than that I dint have any complaints
