Jiminnm,
I just went to that site, and it shows all of the local channels that I am looking for: 2,4,5,7,9. and 13 with strong signals for my location. So, I agree, it has to be the antenna. But I live in a apartment building, and I hear many of neighbors blasting their TVs with no problem, and there is no cable in this building. I feel like I am in solitary confinement !

I highly recommend the Mohu Leaf indoor antenna. I purchased 3 a few years ago, two for myself and one for family as gift. Works great in picking up most free over air channels. I receive about 50 channels in total and some are duplicates from neighboring cities: Detroit to Canton OH to Canadian station! We have a few local channels (Cleveland network affiliates) which have not upgraded transmitter tower infrastructure.
Depending on weather conditions they can be lost. Also, depending on where your unit is located in a large residential building in respect to the transmitter towers it may be more of a challenge especially if you are going through multiple units walls and the construction type. You'll have to play around with the placement to find optimum reception.

I had no luck with a leaf. In Cleveland also. Got about 20 channels and NOT 19 or 3 which are the two I wanted. So not a big fan.

The flat antenna on the EAST side of my house pulls in different channels to that TV ... vs the same set up on the WEST side.

EAST wasn't an option for me. SOUTH and WEST.
Moved to a new house with an external antenna attached = 50 channels. It's crazy.

Lucky you. I have one for the attic... not installed yet.

The point is that the broadcast antenna's are where they are.
Don't look north if they're to the south or west.

I'm good now. All it took was buying a new house.
