It doesn't recognize it, but it still works. I pressed the Stop button for about 10 seconds and then turned it off and unplugged it. I restarted it a few times and it did the trick , and started printing again.
There's no way I can afford the printer cartridges with as much ink as I use. The ink refills are absolutely fantastic. For one bottle that costs about $10.00, I can refill it 4 or 5 times. The quality of the ink is exactly as you would get from the cartridges . The cartridge manufacturers are in the business of making as much money as possible, not giving people a break. And as long as a person follows the instructions, there is no reason an able adult can't do it and save tons of money at the same time.
It's not a problem. What I was wondering is if there's a hack of some sort to get it to stop flashing the little light. It's just a small annoyance , not a deal-breaker, though.
