I have these, and really like them. Got them used on eBay for under $100.
I've been testing out wireless sets, but so far don't like any of them as well as the 7506. For one thing, they emphasize the bass, and my favorite kind of music is acoustic guitar.
But I'm going to be replacing my iPhone 6s with a newer iPhone, and the newer phones don't have a headphone jack. Not sure what I'm going to do.

I have a 2020 iPhone SE and I bought a couple of Apple branded lightning to headphone jack dongles for it....under $10 each.

They work. Not 100%, but significant. They are great for going to the dentist. When you can't hear that horrible penetrating high pitched whine of the ultrasonic scaler and hear your favorite music instead you hurt much less. Same with getting a tattoo.
To test you just put on the headphones with no input and you will discover how much background sounds are reduced when you switch them on.
My experience has been with reasonably affordable brands. I have no idea if the high dollar brands are significantly better.

I'm listening to music on Spotify with my Bose QC-35s right now.
They are fabulous!
And they block out the chatter around me. On jet aircraft they eliminate the jet engine drone.
...and they create a perfect excuse for not being able to hear the wife....
