It's usefull, except for the telemarketers that spoof their number so you don't know whos calling.
I got a call from 555-555-5555 the other night.

Caller ID? Wow! Talk about brand new, cutting edge techno-wizardry!

And I also heard they have this new thing call a "cordless phone" where you don't even have that pesky cord connecting your handset to the base unit!
