I have a sharp aquos flat screen tv, and it was working fine until I upgraded my comcast, i have this little box i guess its supposed to make sure my tv is digital. But now when the game is on I dont see the scores because i dont get full picture. Its like the bottom part is not shown anymore, but everything else is shown. Anyone know how to fix this?
I have a Sony Bravia, and on my TV the solution would be to press the "wide" button on the remote...changes the picture to either "full," "zoom," or "wide zoom." If its an HD channel, the right setting is full.

I agree, also be aware that many stations are broadcast in "regular" and "hd'. (2 different channels).
This happened to me. On the Comcast remote, to the right of the "0" number button, is a small button that says "HD ZOOM". Use that to make the screen image larger/smaller.
The Sharp manual probably isnt relevant for remote control issue if you have Comcast. When I upgraded my Comcast, the guy programmed a Comcast remote for my Samsung TV. I cant use the Samsung remote control unless I re-program it. And I wouldnt want to, as I think I'd then lose some of the Comcast features.
if you have the option, try using the auto sync ability for the picture to auto format to the specifications of the size tv you are using. I had a similar issue and had to locate the menu and option for input to auto synch on my Sharp flat screen TV.
The aspect ratio button should fix that. Look for normal or something like it.
