I'm looking for a DVR that I can buy with a one time cost attached. I don't want to pay a monthly rental or subscription fee. This seems to fit the bill and their product demo looks impressive. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this product and willing to share their experience with the likes and dislikes.

Moxi, HD DVR, HDTV, Digital Video Recorder, Premium Media Center

Noticed this post in another thread that seems relevant.

I have it now. I'm on my fourth Moxi box now in three months. The first one operated fine for 2 years. Then 2-4 had problems from the get-go. I don't know if it's the cable co or the box. I get Moxi updates 10 times a day. It cuts off any programs I'm taping so I ended up with a 20 min. Chinatown just the other night amongst other disappointments. It's maddening.
