What is the average price of reg. gas in Cookeville ?
In Memphis Where I live it is (reg) $2.37 to a high of $2.55 a gallon.

Lowest I saw today is $2.43 up to maybe $2.55 or so.

That's not too bad. We're a little lower than that down here in SC, but I think our gas tax is lower.

Mapquest has daily prices just click on the tool bar for gasoline or diesel...

Tinman313 - Wow I used the gasbuddy website. I checked Lake Worth, FL the prices were 2.65 - 2.71 and I check Niota and of course -0- so I checked Athens, TN and the prices were 2.45 - 2.49. That's a pretty good savings. Every little bit helps these days. One more reason I'm moving.

The link is for fuel tax.. Gas Taxes please note Florida and the description stated far right column. and then compare to Tennessee

here in Carthage it is 2.69 and with my wife driving to nashville every day for work kills us. from Carthage to nashville is an hr. to drive. thats about $20 in gas at 5 days a week $100. $400. a mo. thats close to a house payment. how can anyone get ahead, drive me crazy.

not much difference in price than here ( central Minnesota)......$2.74

I know what you mean about draining the checkbook or billfold fast if one does much driving.

I know it really sticks. The gas here (FL) about 2 weels ago that hit 2.69 not it's back up to 2.82 . And it's been going up every couple of days little by little.

Today Oct. 9 reg is around $2.50 to a high of $2.65 a gallon . I was in Calif. Los Angles area I saw a low of around $2.99 a gallon . How do people live that way ?
