JMT, we should be in the house in a few days and then only 15 minutes to Cookeville, I will put the Made with Love Cafe on our list of places to go.

Thanks again

I have to confirm the thumbs up for Made with Love Cafe. The food is great, the portions tooo large tho. Best diner in Cookeville.

Sadly I give the thumbs down on Cream City. I took the grandkids and was highly disappointed.

Curious, why were you disappointed in Cream City? We've been there a few times and thought the ice cream is some of best we've had.

I didnt not see anything special about it and it was expensive. I took my grandkids. One got a root beer float which consisted of a plastic cup like you get draft beer in, a scoop of ice cream, they opened a can of barq’s root beer and poured over it, the other got a milkshake I could make better at home. The icecream looked old, IMO Baskin-Robbins is better and has a better selection. I got a cappuccino that wasn’t very good either. I think the bill was $12-13. It was just not at all what I expected. I guess I was expecting something more like a old fashioned soda fountain.

Regarding furniture stores, I LOVE D.T. McCalls. If you see something you like in a different furniture store you can write down the model # and give it to them and have them beat the price. I have always had good service from them.

For ice cream we use to love to go to the Marble Slab off of Willow. Wonder if it's still there??

Cookeville has so many good places now to shop and eat. The only thing we are missing is a TARGET.
