Yes, I have tried the catfish at Cookeville Boat Dock ... good stuff!

After much resolve and planning, I got a carryout order from Brazo Café and Grill this morning. The parking lot was packed....I can recommend the Eggs Florentine and grits. In other observations, I noticed that the parking at Grandma's Pancake House was completely taken....I didn't even know that place was still open.

We eat at Bravo quite often. Good food, fair prices. Wish they were open for dinner more than 1 day/week.

I thought they were a little pricey, but then I was feeding my two grandsons.

We usually get the weekday specials. You can get 2 eggs, potatoes, bacon/sausage and pancakes or toast for under five bucks.

That sounds like a good deal. I've never been to Grandma's but maybe I should try it. It seems like whenever I think of eating there it's in the afternoon after they've closed for the day.

Update on Rib City, ate there again yesterday, menu prices up $.70, gotta pay for that new building somehow ! No complaints, food portion actually seemed a little larger, service is always fast/excellent. Free take home drink. Still have the $1 mugs of maybe the coldest draft beer in town.

Waitress said the new one will be open in 4-6 weeks, is double in size and will be hiring more staff once it takes off. They have a good location at the new one and they will do very well. Drove by it today, parking lot is ready for blacktop. Gotta get there before 4PM for the value !! Still our favorite place in town, we have crossed off most all the chains on Restaurant Row from our list for one reason or another.
